In the wake of World War I, Berlin has gained a reputation for a lack of morality. Known as a place where everything could be bought for the right price, it is a city of both hedonism and business; its streets are filled with disabled veterans, prostitutes, poor immigrants, and political agitators, as well as businessmen, academics, and artists.

The gutters are filled with the blood from political assassinations, as communists and völkisch nationalists clash with each other and the police.

The long evenings feature Berlin's world-famous cabarets with music, dance, and titillating entertainment in stark contrast to the gray buildings towering over the city.

Berlin - The Wicked City introduces the strange elements of the Cthulhu Mythos. A breeding ground for occult organizations, cults, and half-whispered lore. Amid the capital of sin, doubts are raised about what it even means to be human, and as the city approaches its inevitable dark destiny, the sanity of investigators is pushed to the breaking point.

This book provides an overview of what 1920s Berlin was like for visitors and residents at the time. There are guidelines for creating investigators fitting the campaign, and organizations to bind the group of investigators together. Important figures, locations, and a system for creating cityscapes when improvisation is needed are included. With crime and punishment, the city's underworld, and high culture - it provides all a Keeper needs to understand what makes Berlin unique.

There are 3 scenarios that start at the end of World War I and continue to Adolf Hitler's rise and the advent of the Nazi Party. They feature colorful details about Berlin and its inhabitants and can be run as standalone adventures or linked together into a mini-campaign.
